WOLFGANG PROKSCH

The German living Designer Wolfgang Proksch began with a keen interest in product design, fashion, architecture, furniture, cars, jazz, and contemporary art. He studied marketing and was designated the best in his year for his degree dissertation, receiving his award from the then Germany Minister for the Economy. Following a number years in management, he enjoyed success designing for the legendary Bugatti brand, amongst others.

Wolfgang Proksch embodies the design culture of “Classic modernism” with an avant-garde twist. Japanese engineering and skilled handcraft lend the line its extraordinary character. A significant style element is the protected elastical revolute joint, which – in a unique way – creates a balanced spring effect. The best materials, such as titanium and acetate – both of Japanese origin are used exclusively in producing the glasses, in order to achieve the excellent haptics and visibly exquisite surface aesthetics.
